Thanks for the Get Well Wishes

Monday, October 29, 2012

My second round of flu escalated sufficiently to get me to a walk-in clinic Sunday: and onto some antibiotics plus asthma inhalers (which I haven't needed for years).

Antibiotics are miraculous. For years and years I couldn't take 'em (allergies) but the new generation of antibiotics works so fast without side effects: I am stunned.

Still not operating at the top of my game, or close. No gym this morning. Not ready for work yet . . . and wouldn't want to spread whatever I've got to co-workers and clients in any event.

But I'm feeling better, thank you all! Gonna survive this, yes I will.

So glad you can take antibiotics now. That is bad when you have to go back on an inhaler :( Thank you for not going into a public place to share your bug. May it soon be trampled into little bug splats!!!
No flu shot for me -that suspension and recall of flu shots here in Saskatchewan sounded serious -parts of live vrius have been found in the shots! I know a couple of ladies who didn't feel so good after the shot. The one time procrastination actually worked for something. My Dr. requires I get a flu shot, but I am happy to wait until they clear them as being effective. I get enough pokes not to get one that would be next to useless and might even make me sick.

Take care of you!

Glad you're feeling better. Easy does it, allow the body to fully recuperate, and you'll be yourself fully before you know it.
