Run Baby Run.....

Sunday, October 28, 2012

Good Sunday Sparkfam! Yesterday was such a wonderful & romantic day for me & hubs, we got up at 7am went the track & we RAN! I have been trying to get him interested in running/walking outside with me since the last few months. I recently joined the "Black Girls Run" team but only have jogged on the treadmill. I haven't ran outdoors since we ran through the airport in DC last July....I'm not kidding you! lol This is serious as the Wonderpets would say when trying to save a pet from danger....My heatlh is very important to me as yours is to all of you. So we shared most of yesterday hanging out & just being close. Last night we anticipated what to eat, what to eat? Well, I don't like going out too late for fear of waiting & then becoming ravenous. So I suggest we eat something at home since it was cold & late. So I had some turkey burgers in freezer, unthawed & mixed them together, while I back sweet potatoe & curly fries in the oven. When I was done, the burgers were perfect! From the seasonings, you couldn't even tell they were turkey & the fries on the side made the meal perfect! My hubs was like man these are so good! They were small almost slider size but thicker & we were full & none the wiser to my son that he had just consumed turkey. He doesn't mind but next time, corn on the cob will be the side item.

Feeling pounds lighter already. Weights in had will be workout tonight after I finish cooking, beef short ribs, chicken breast & thighs, sweet potatoes, mac&cheese & wild rice. Oh & corn bread which is really good.

Oh, we had an wonderful time in Atlanta!! We enjoyed room service for breakfast, went shopping, got our nails done & then went out later to see a few sights. We just didn't have enough time but we laughed & laughed at ourselves & had such a good mother/daughter experience.... We will definitely do more things together. I lost my cellphone & ear piece & DROPPED my juicy perfume & broke! UGH & YIKES!! No one found either yet but oh well good is good all the time God is good! Thank you all for your well wishes cause they helped!

God bless & enjoy Sunday!

emoticon That Sounds Like A Good Day And Night You Had On Saturday! Did You Run Long? You Like Me With Sweet Potatoes, I Can Eat Them With EVERY Meal Or As The Meal. I Always Cut Mine In Half If It's Too Big. Lately The Ones I've Bought Have Been Really Sweet, Which Is Surprising. Your Dinner Sounds Yummy As Always. My Grandmother Used To Cook Short Ribs All The Time. She Would Make A Pasta Dish With Them And Boy Were They Good...And Greasy! lol

It's A Shame You Lost Your Phone And Earpiece. But It's A Phone. I'm Glad You Had Fun Too. I've Never Been To The ATL And Do Not Have A Desire To Go. Too Big For Me. Thanks For The Goodie. We Have To Keep Fighting Even When We Get To That Weight Goal. But I'm Willing And You Know God Always Works With Our Efforts. emoticon
Have A Great End Of October!

Isn't it great to have the hubby go with for the run? I wish Jeff was able to, but the cancer has him in a pretty slowed down pace.
    The burgers sound good.
