Fruit and Vegetable Diet Tips - Look at the Ways to Add to Your Diet
my CHALLENGE THIS WEEK IS TO ADD FRUIT AND VEGGITABLE TO MY DIET. SO HERE ARE SOME TIPS I will try and maybe you will too
1. Drink Smoothies.-WELL THIS TIP IS NO PROBLEM FOR ME I HAVE SMOTHIES WITH BANNANA AND A CUP OF FROZEN FRUIT EVERY MORINING WITH BREAKFAST
2. Eat celery sticks and other veggies with PEANUT BUTTER MIGHT TRY THIS ONE SINCE I AM TRYING OUT NEW PENUT BUTTER
3. Dried fruit makes an excellent snack any time of the day.
4. Add some fruits and vegetables to your sandwiches. You can add some banana, sliced apples or strawberry slices to a peanut butter sandwich. Top a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and anything else YOU will eat. You can even make a sub shop style vegetable sandwich by combining several different vegetables with some LOW FAT mayonnaise and cheese on bread.
5. YOU CAN Used fruits and vegetables as snacks. You can cut apples into slices and top them with peanut butter or cheese. Cube cheese and serve with grapes. Cut up some fresh veggies and EAT e them with Low cal ranch dip. And of course there's ants on a log. Spread some cream cheese or peanut butter on the inside of a stick of celery and sprinkle raisins on it (wow, fruit and vegetable in one snack).
6. 6. Learn some simple, delicious new ways to prepare veggies. Sautéed spinach with garlic and olive oil is heavenly and takes minutes. Roasting Veggie can be pretty
easy, too – just prep them (a minute or two), toss them into a hot oven, and come back when they’re done. You’ll be a huge fan when you taste the intense flavor of a well-roasted veggie.

7. . Plan some meals around a vegetable main dish, such as a vegetable stir-fry or soup..
8. Top pasta with tomato-based sauces instead of cream or cheese sauces. Better yet, “beef up” the tomato sauce by first sautéing some onions, garlic, mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, spinach, or other veggies and then add the tomato puree and some herbs
10. Shred carrots or zucchini into meatloaf, casseroles, quick breads, and muffins

1) I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

2) I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by.

3) Someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.

4) Tell me what you need, and I'll tell you how to get along without it.

5) Needing someone is like needing a parachute. If he isn't there the first time you need him, chances are you won't be needing him again.

6 I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

7 Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, "Where the heck is the ceiling?"

8) My Reality Check bounced.

9) On the keyboard of life, always keep one finger on the escape key.

14) I don't suffer from stress. I'm a carrier.

.

16) Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, 'cuz, you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

17) Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.

18) Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

That's right-- get those veggies in! Be careful with the calories though. I'm finding the peanut butter (which I hated when I started Spark) is completely addictive but laden with calories!!! If you aren't freaked out by Mushrooms- i'm finding these are a great way to boost food volumes, low on calories and inch me closer to meeting the daily magnesium.

Good luck this week. Sending healthy wishes your way!

I love the veggie tips, and do many of them. I haven't had a peanut butter and banana sandwich for years, but it used to be one of my favorite combos.

Hope you have a great week. It sounds like last week could use some improvement.

i like green smoothies, with the sweet fruits i don't taste the spinach or kale. green leaf lettuce or romaine lettuce tends to have a stronger flavor so i save them for salads.

the Van Gogh jokes were funny.
