I asked my husband to pick up a bag of mini Snickers bars or something similar 'in case kids come trick or treating'. Mind you, I live in Mexico, and most people celebrate Noche de Muertos, which is quite different from Halloween and Trick or Treating. I think my subconscious just wanted to have crappy sweets around for a splurge...

I do keep Lindt 90% cocoa in the house at all times, as I consider that a healthy splurge to have regularly, but... I was craving something caramel-ly.

What does he bring home? A huge Costco-sized container of milk chocolate covered marshmallows. I HATE marshmallows. I'm not sure if he knows that, but yuck. I won't be splurging on those. They aren't even individually wrapped, so they'll just goosh all around the kids' little pumpkin buckets. My husband isn't used to Halloween, I guess. So much for a Snickers fix! My waistline thanks my husband!

My husband does the exact opposite. He will bring home a giant bag of our favorite treats and share them with all of our kids and keep offering me some. Be glad that he brings home unloved treats, LOL. It is much easier to say no.

Glad your husband picked the wrong sweets! I love dark chocolate - love the fact that I can't eat more than a bitter square at a time but that seems to quell the cravings. I'd devour the bag if I had caramel around. emoticon

That is funny; I don't like marshmallows very much either. I'm sure your husband "knows" LOL emoticon Happy Halloween! emoticon
