The Mix 'N Match workout caught my eye and the first phrase is so me! People love routine. There’s comfort in doing the same things and knowing exactly what to expect—no surprises, no fear, no thinking required. And sometimes, routine can be a very good thing.
But as the article goes on to say, you need to mix up your workouts or your body gets used to the same workout and it no longer has the benefits. I found this out when I was going to a personal trainer, he did not vary the routine except for occasionally upping the weights. I plateaued out for the longest time.
