The Red One

Friday, October 26, 2012

I've been inching closer to being 130 pounds down for awhile now. I inch down, then spike up, dancing back and forth between -125 & -130.

The thing is, that I have a red shirt that says I've lost 130 pounds. There was a green one for 125, that I wear every once in awhile.

But I'm ready for the red one. I want it to be bright, bold and permanent. In the recent past when my weight drops to 245 lbs, I've secretly/subconsciously sabotaged it with being less mindful about my food, or skipping exercise. Not in big ways (usually), just the little things that we build to lose weight.

Something inside of me wasn't ready. I think I'm ready now. I'm ready to see. I'm ready to get back to running. Maybe still not ready to run at lunch time like my crazy co-workers... but they are doing it.

--Just some thoughts bouncing around my head.
Red. Good color.

I, for one, can't wait to see you in THE RED SHIRT. Capitalizing it made it all dramatic, see? I'm glad you're getting closer to being ready for that change. emoticon

I feel like this with the goal weight. I've been right there... under 10 pounds away for a while, and then weakness? sabotage? .... we'll get there.
