This is probably my maximum I should stay under in calories. My thoughts on the pizza were, I usually eat it with pasta too, so technically I did eat it as a smaller meal, I just cut out the extra carbs.

Today I ran 4.11 miles during my 54 minute exercise. Next week I repeat the same intervals, but instead of doing it 9 times in a row... I do it for 12. That's 72 minutes of running in a circle! :-O

I'm going to become known as the person on this site that hates old people, but today an old man was walking. I pass him in lane 6, the next time I lap him I see him in lane 6, so I go to lane 5, lap him again and I see he's moved over into lane 5... le sigh. I go into lane 3. Guess what happens? You're halfway right because he was in lane 3, he just left the track before I passed him again. I don't understand this odd phenomena. I just don't.

This week's smaller meals thing is something I'm glad to be over with after tomorrow, however I'd do this all season while riding a unicycle in small circles singing "Jesus loves me" while wrestling grizzly bears if I didn't have to do the sodium challenge next week. I have 3 meals of pizza that are 600, 400 and 400mg respectively. And I know pasta and rice are low sodium, which helps because carbs are needed before a 5k run :-P I ran out of cereal but I think that's moderately low. This just isnt the time of year fresh fruits and vegetables seem to exist where I live. Every apple I've bitten into has been brown, every orange is green, bosc pears are still $2.00 a pound. I think this'll be harder to pull of this season.

I contacted another recruiter today about another job, and they contacted me back rather quickly and forwarded my resume to the corporation. I really hope I get this one, the pizza guy didn't call today. :-( Neither has the actual recruiter for the other position. le sigh.

Tomorrow is a strength training day and a 5k walk. Then weigh in on Sunday should be fine... as long as I contact the scale whisperer. ;-)

The dreaded sodium challenge. If perhaps, you were to avoid prepackaged foods for the week, that might help you. Cereal is usually ok, but check the boxes. Get low sodium soups or make a batch of homemade (you KNOW where a good recipe

    The old guy obviously thought that there was a reason you were running in the lanes that you were in, and decided that he better follow suit. ;)

I always track my sodium because I am super prone to retaining water, so the low sodium will be pretty easy. But, when I first started tracking it, it was SOOO hard. It is ridiculous how many foods have outrageous sodium counts!

Amazing job on the running, like ALWAYS!! And I'm going to keep praying that you get a phone call with someone offering you the job of your dreams!

    hahahaha....QUICK run to your doctor and ask for an exemption from the sodium challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could edit your recommended sodium intake on your nutritional tracker...just sayin'. We neeeeed a video blog again on this can be your 'thing'....well that and disliking old people....that is tooooo weird! Remind me tomorrow, cause if I whisper tonight, then it will be cancelled out if you weigh in tomorrow.....
