This weekend brings holiday parties, company and treats. Drinks and food. I want to stay on track. I have not had a gain in weeks. Actually, I've made it to a couple of goals. I have not rewarded myself yet for meeting those goals. I decided today what I'm going to do. Cashing in on my rewards will help me to see how my hard work has paid off. I have never rewarded myself for dieting. LOL It seems odd but I think I could get used to this!
I reached my goal of 143 lbs and I was going to get a massage. I decided I am getting a tattoo instead. My Honey can give me the massage.
I'm going to get a tiara put on my wrist claddagh tattoo.
I reached my 10 pounds lost goal. I didn't have a plan on how to celebrate. I reached my 141 lbs goal and I was going to buy brown boots. I have decided to get 2 new pair of heels instead. I bought one pair yesterday and I'm going back to get another today.
Now, for this weekend... I have a fantastic STRONGend challenge planned with my BLC20 team. I will keep my playing board in the kitchen where I can see it. It's Halloween weekend. My daughter is all grown up so for us, it means eating, drinking, partying. Not really what I want to do to stay on track. I am a bit under the weather - fighting off a bug. That could work to my advantage.
I have my daughter coming home from college for the weekend. We are buying our candy for Halloween but I will make my Honey promise to hide it and not eat it around me. I will plan to have a couple pieces of mini candy bar in my menu. I have my best friend coming and staying over night on Sunday. I'll plan a nutritious dinner and skip the tasty beverage. We may go out to a couple of parties on Saturday night, but right now, it isn't appealing. If we go, I'll designate myself as driver and drink water or sip a cranberry juice.
That's my plan for surviving Halloween. Cash in on my rewards and plan for obstacles.
