10/26/12 Last weeks review and next weeks goals.

This week's review: I ran on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday for 3.1 miles and walked 1 mile. I did the yoga every night instead of the mornings. Monday and Wednesday I did Lunges and squats. I still haven't found the time to kettlebell and didn't have time to do elliptical for crosstraining. I am running my first 5k Saturday, which will be another run day. Did not lose a pound but I did hold steady. I have been sticking to my nutrition values but have ate junk instead of good food a few days.
Next weeks goals: Run Monday, Wednesday, Saturday. Yoga in the mornings. Crosstrain on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday with elliptical or walking, squats and lunges. Friday will be my day of rest. Maintain or lose 1 lb.
I did find a good cookbook. "Hungry Girl, Guilt free eating."I looked through the vegan and vegetarian cookbooks and could not find anything more than what I have found on Sparkrecipes. There was a WW cookbook, but it was sealed and I am not buying it unless I can look through it and see if the recipes look good. I will be running my first 5k race Saturday. Nervous and excited. I keep telling myself not to expect to much other than to finish without walking. It is the experience I am wanting and the time for a baseline. I will see if I can talk my son into getting up early to go take pics. If not if will be when I get the one from the race pics. It is suppose to be 50 degrees, which I can deal with, and rainy. I am not looking forward to running in the cold rain.
I found that the YMCA in my area has a indoor track. I checked the price of the family membership and it is about the same as all the other gyms in the area. I think I can swing it. I am only going to do it during the winter months. It will give the kids something to do also. They have been begging for one for a while. I am going to sign up this weekend. I might even put on a swimsuit and swim some laps, I haven't wore a swimsuit in years!
