Getting in exercise (and food eating) was made difficult by a certain family member who never seems to get the concept of being respectful and letting me know in advance when they want to go to the store, and thinks I can just mind read when she wants to go grocery shopping and know that I should exercise early in the day when almost every day like clock work since July I've exercised in the evenings (because it was her idea a few months ago). I have to ask her at three in the afternoon if she was going to surprise me with a surprise request to go to the grocery store, she's like, oh I don't wanna go til 4, thanks for the heads up! x.x Plus she was a total brat to the workers there and I'm very ashamed of her attitude today to me and to minimum wage workers who can't help what a register tells them a coupon can and can't do.
I walked around the store for about 2 hours... she told me she'd only take 30 minutes. It's not a 4 mile run, but my average walk time was 36 minutes MTW. So I beat my average today on top of all my strength training. Even if you count the pauses I took to pick between different types of peanut butter, hummus, and cheeses, I'm pretty confident I spent 30 minutes walking.
Watch, next week this same woman will be telling me to put salt in every piece of food I eat. (I thought I offered Ashleigh a hug in return for not using the sodium challenge? What happened here?) I'm pretty sure she's purposefully trying to ruin any bit of this challenge stuff she can. (The grandmother, not the Ashleigh).
