More Exercise= Eating Healthier?

I am not sure if I am the only one, but I noticed that on the days I exercise I eat so much better and healthier than on my rest/lazy days. Last week when I wasn't active at all, I ate junk food all the time. It was a very very bad week for me-still lost a pound though. Then this week I have been exercising daily and I noticed that I don't feel like eating junk food at all. Actually, this week my old problem is back...I am not able to eat within my calorie range. I am aware that I wasn't meeting it last week either, but last week I was probably over pretty much every day (I think), but this week, I eat 'normal' and instead of consuming between 1270-1620 calories a day I only use about 1000-1200. I know I could just allow myself to 'binge' a little every day, but I am here to eat healthier and thats exactly I don't want to do, although I still eat some chocolate if I crave some.
Maybe the best way to meet my calorie range would be to drink the calories. I bought some orange and apple juice, so I will see if it helped me if I drank some juice every day.
We will see....

    There HAS to be a solution here somewhere...you've been struggling with this for so long. i'm curious...have you tried eating slightly bigger portions? --I know with my smoothies, I eat more calories just by adding a little more peanut butter or whatever...and on the days i need to cut back i usually plan to have a dinner that's lo-cal, like oatmeal or something. Just a thought...and curiosity.

    I also notice that! I workout everyday and I always feel better after doing so, so I tend to eat better. You can't have one without the other!

    Some days it seems so hard to meet those minimum calories--others days, they are gone in a flash! I never really noticed the exercise/healthier eating thing. Maybe because exercise can be an appetite suppressant? I know I drink more water when I work out and more water=less room for food,

    Yes, I too tend to eat better when I'm exercising more regularly.

As far as not hitting your calorie range, listen to your body and nourish it when it needs it with healthy options and all the calorie ranges in the world couldnt be more accuate :)

    Yes, I have noticed the same thing. When I exercise I eat a LOT better. Also, when I do it healthy/clean I feel like I am eating ALL day to get those 1200 calories. Mind you they are small healthy things like apples, bananas, strawberries (you have to eat a heck of a lot of strawberries to even hit 100 calories) etc. But, wow, I feel like I am eating ALL day. :P I guess this is a good thing right, I never feel hungry.
