Day 19 - Not all food is created equal!

O...M...G...!!!

I was so close to going over on my calories this morning!!! I had planned two homemade egg and cheese burritos for breakfast. Well we were out of eggs so I went to get some and get some Sonic for the kids (it's 1.99 kids meal today) so I just decided to pick up some burritos there, so I was checking over the menu and there were plain burritos which would have been fine, but then I saw the SuperSonic burritos will all the goodies I love (but I didn't realize there were tator tots in them so I ordered two (I know the whole time my spirit was like this isn't a good idea, but I didn't listen carefully enough) So I took my burritos and meals for the kids home and ate them... come to find out those burritos are 550 calories each...

So the last thing I ate was a burger and fries at 1pm and now I'm completely out of calories (but praise God I didn't go over) and the rest of the night to go... I tell you what I won't make this mistake again!!!
I have to calculate better my food before I eat it, don't just assume it's the same!

Well tonight I'm going to the gym and doing some spin class and yoga... then I'm going to bed! I might some some veggie soup if I'm really hungry (carrots, celery, broth) but other than that I'm DONE for the day!!! It's not worth it!!!

I'm seriously doing 3 hours of personal time Saturday when I get to my three weeks, I need it!!!

    Believe me I'm far from starving myself!!! I did get hungry (of course) so I had an apple and some broth. emoticon

    EAT IF YOUR HUNGRY! It is not about going over your calories in a day. It is about a prolonged calorie deficit. You will not gain 5 lbs in a day (if you do you are eating an absurd amount of calories.) You need to continue to keep your metabolism reved up. If you are hungry and actually do not feel like eating a large dinner eat some fruit or vegies. You are right not all food is created equal and sometimes it can suprise us but just because we mess up does not mean we need to punish ourselves inhumanely. Just remember do more good than bad and you'll stay on track. Good luck and BUY SOME EGGS! emoticon

    I know the feeling I love hardees chicken biscuits and I never dreamed they had 500 cal. each I was thinking 300 and that is just a sandwhich no hasbrowns . so now I know if I get one I have to eat light the rest of the day.
