After hearing lots of great things about it, Lacebot and I tried Zumba last night at the fitness center where we swim. It was super fun!! It was dancing, shaking your booty, with a little bit of traditional aerobics moves tossed in. We were both exhausted by the end, but we felt like we had a great workout. And today, we are both SO SORE.

I know this is because it was new, and we used a new group of muscles. We have decided to go at least once a week, and do 20 minutes of easy yoga after each class. Hopefully that will stretch out our muscles so next week will involve less next-day soreness!!!

    haha, I've actually found a bunch of free zumba classes near me...the only problem is they're at 5:00 am! I'm so not a morning person!

    Way to go!!! I bought a dvd on it and tried it and a couple of online videos. Yeah that wasn't pretty. I spent more time with my head cocked to the side trying to figured out how in the world do they move that way than actually doing the it. LOL!! But I can see how it would be fun and producing a very sore body the next day.

    Oh, I love zumba! I used to go 2x a week. I don't have a gym membership right now, otherwise I'd still be doing it!
