After hearing lots of great things about it, Lacebot and I tried Zumba last night at the fitness center where we swim. It was super fun!! It was dancing, shaking your booty, with a little bit of traditional aerobics moves tossed in. We were both exhausted by the end, but we felt like we had a great workout. And today, we are both SO SORE.
I know this is because it was new, and we used a new group of muscles. We have decided to go at least once a week, and do 20 minutes of easy yoga after each class. Hopefully that will stretch out our muscles so next week will involve less next-day soreness!!!
