Morning vs. Evening Exercise
Wednesday, October 24, 2012
For me, early morning exercise will always trump evening exercise. Yesterday I spent the whole day saying I was going to go exercise; but instead, life took over, husband was an hour late coming home from daughter's band practice and by then, I had gotten all the other kids to bed and I was DONE for the day. See what I mean? This morning, after sleeping all night, I got out there and got it done, and I still have the whole day ahead of me, yet that one important thing is crossed off my to-do list. I love it. :) And I get that it doesn't work that way for everyone. That's just how it works for me.
The weather outside this morning is amazing. I had a good time out there and even saw one of my friends this morning, running too! When I got almost to my halfway point, I found a dime, and when I was coming back I found a penny. I'd love to be able to add about 6 zeros to them and then cash them in, LOL!
I thought of a really awesome long-term goal on my outing today. I will graduate in May 2014, and I would love to get my picture taken at graduation, 50 lbs. lighter, with one of my favorite professors, Dr. Dale Brown. His KNR 182 class was a huge turning point for me, and I wish everyone could just go and take that one class with him. I work so hard every day because I remember so much of what I learned in his class. WHY our bodies need carbs/lipids/proteins, WHAT happens to our bodies during hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes, HOW our cells burn ATP energy at different heart rates, and more. But anyway, May 2014 sounds way far off, but really, it's only 18 months from now. Yikes. Seriously. So, do you think I can do it?!
