Regardless of the fact that I may have failed today, tomorrow I shall succeed!

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

Well today I've realized that this journey is a little harder than I thought. Having an office job and siting for almost 9 hrs straight doesn't help me remain motivated while trying to make lifestyle changes. It seems that I take one step forward to take two steps backwards. AND I DON'T WANT MY JOURNEY TO BEGIN LIKE THIS!!!!
Praying that tomorrow is a better day!! A day where I don't give in to the mini chocolate candies from the Halloween buckets through my job. A day where I see a girl with a nice figure and don't get jealous! A day where I can say I consumed 10 glasses of water, didn't touch any chocolates or other sweets and completed 30 minutes or more of exercise!! All while maintaining order in my house after work and attending to a 3 year old, a 7 month old and a husband! Story of my life, right?!!!
I know that its not going to be easy! But I must stay encouraged!
WE MUST STAY ENCOURAGED!! WE CAN'T ALLOW THE TROUBLES OF OUR DAILY LIVES TO CAUSE US TO BE SELF-DESTRUCT! WE MUST KEEP OUR EYES ON THE MARK OF THE PRIZE! WE MUST PUT ON PATIENCE AND CONTINUE TO PRESS FORWARD DESPITE THE CHALLENEGES THAT WE ARE BOUND TO FACE! I PERSONALLY HAVE 80LBS TO LOSE AND I'M CERTAIN THAT I WILL NOT GET THERE UNLESS I MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS!!
"SHORT TERM DISCOMFORTS TO ACHIEVE LONG TERM GOALS"!!!!
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL!!
WE CAN DO THIS!!
GOD BLESS!!!

This time of year can be difficult due to the giving out of candy on Halloween. We stopped doing that 15 years ago due to our faith and am so happy we don't have to participate in it anymore - was a difficult time for me when we had all that candy around - our 2 youngest children went out to get candy only once, the 1st year we adopted them but not after that - and now that they are in their 20's they say they are glad they didn't participate - they would dress up (could not be any of the occult thens - witchs/ghosts ect) and usually they wanted to be indians - and then we had our own little party.

As for candy - I gave up chocolate Jan 1 of this year and am so glad I did - I have man other little changes to make but making them one at a time is the way I found works best.

You can do it - just hang in
