I'm getting ready to move in with Jacob. I'll be spending this week going through all of mine and Ella's stuff, and packing. Which, I need to go through all of Ella's things anyways. Since winter's coming, I need to go through her clothes from last year, and go ahead and throw out what I know won't fit her when summer comes again so I can make room for her new winter clothes. Same with her shoes. And since Christmas will be here in a matter of months, I need to go through her toys and get rid of what she doesn't need/want/use so I can make room for the new things she'll get.
I'm sure I'll be getting plenty of exercise cleaning and packing. I'll crank up the tunes, and try to make it fun. Plus, I'll be carrying boxes and furniture down four flights of stairs. I guess I should spend the week warming up my muscles, lol. :)
I'm really excited, but I'm nervous. Even though we've been spending a lot of time at Jacob's lately, I'm worried about how Ella's going to act about officially moving in with him. We've lived with my dad for a little over 3 years now while I went to school, and even though he's her grandfather, and she knows that, he's been the only real father figure in her life, and I don't know how she'll be about not living here anymore, and not getting to see him as much anymore. Plus it's been three years since I was "on my own" but at least Jacob's good to us, and I know we'll be happy, even if it does take some time for Ella to adjust.
She does like the idea of having her own room though and not having to share with me anymore. (I'm also looking forward to not having to share a room with her, lol) We already have a bed for her, but the sheets are a little on the plain side. I'd like to be able to get princess or Tinkerbell stuff for the bed and decorate her room. Hopefully we can paint her room. I know Jacob wants to paint all the rooms, but technically it's his dad's house (he inherited it), but his dad has no use for the house, so maybe he won't mind.
