I love how you get people to respond to your blogs with such passion!!! I just hope those that want Obama out of office also want the GOP led Congress out as well...I mean, they are responsible for passing bills and laws that move the economy and the country forward and they have failed to do so...if you gonna blame one, you should blame them all and make them all suffer the consequences...

The producer of the movie 2016 is very wealthy, conservative Mormon. It's based on the rantings of of an India born, far right, evangelical with an ax to grind. That's about as biased as it gets and ridiculous. It's propaganda disguised in a slick package.

o.O How are these points in the article even remotely controversial?

    1. What Are 21st-Century Voting Rights?
    2. Can We Now Have Modern Elections?
    3. Get Partisans Out Of A Public Process
    4. Put The Public Back In A Public Process
    5. Reverse Citizens United and Related Campaign Deregulation
    6. Restore Public Financing and Public Debates On TV

I challenge any one of you previous posters of either side to logically defend the ridiculous sums of money being spent on the political advertising that makes ALL OF US - both parties - thoroughly SICK!!! No one likes it, and the only answer is campaign reform - bi-partisan.

A comment on the previous poster, though. JBEAUFORD, your hypocrisy is showing: if "This site should be about focusing on improving ourselves not stirring up controversy and stress and discord among people when we should be supporting each others journeys" then how come you belong to a rightist team? Thou dost protest too much. If you don't like Miss Sunshine's blogs, then don't read them. It's not like she's sending you email and forcing you to read it.

Thanks for the interesting link, Sunny!

I couldn't disagree with you more, not only for your views, but for even bringing politics into this place. This site should be about focusing on improving ourselves not stirring up controversy and stress and discord among people when we should be supporting each others journeys.

As for the politics I'm a total political junkie and I could spend all day telling you all the reasons I believe you are wrong but when its all said and done you won't believe anything I have to say and it would only serve to divide where SP is intended to unite. I hope you rethink posting further political messages, regardless of what candidates you support.

In the UK, the campaigns last only 4 weeks.

Can you imagine it? 4 weeks of campaigns, everyone votes, leader chosen, move on to business.

I would back a constitutional amendment to limit campaigns to no more than 4 weeks, and limit expenditures to a small, consistent percentage of the GDP of the constituency. Period.

B'rock the vote! I voted today. I am done worrying about it. I don't think posting all this will educate anyone or cause them to change red to blue.

I CANNOT POSSIBLY TELL YOU HOW MUCH I DISAGREE WITH THIS. I THINK THE MESS WE ARE IN IS OBAMA'S FAULT - NOT BUSH'S. BUSH STARTED IT BUT OBAMA EXPLODED IT UNTIL WE MAY NEVER, AS A COUNTRY, RECOVER. IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION FOUNDED UNDER GOD, THEN GO AHEAD AND VOTE FOR HIM AND WATCH GOD BE TAKEN OUT OF EVERYTHING IN THIS COUNTRY. THIS IS ONE OF THE REASON'S SPARK REALLY DOES NOT RECOMMEND DISCUSSING POLITICS HERE. THIS SITE IS PRIMARILY FOR HEALTH IMPROVEMENTS. AND I AM A NON-PARTISAN VOTER BUT VERY, VERY WELL INFORMED. SORRY, YOU LOSE ON THIS ONE.

Wow Sunshine, you sure can stir up a firestorm.

2016 was written and produced by someoe with an axe to grind.

And after 4 ys conservatives are still spouting off party "talking points" that have proven to be false.

Whoever wins is the candidate that's suppose to win. Just like last time. (and all the times beforehand)

Before all of those wishful-thinking changes are considered (in the unlikely event Obama wins another term), the very first change ought to be to ensure that the military get to vote. It is disgusting how blue states have suppressed the military vote, and shameful that the justice Department has not prosecuted these states with the same energy as it has on the voter id laws.

    Go Romney!

why would you want a celebrity president ? he would rather be on the view or play golf rather than fix our country.

he passed his health care bill with chicago politics. why my families medical has risen 1800 dollars since he passed his health care bill.

46 million people are on food stamps because of the economy. my relatives are in that number.

my son is now living with me and his bills because he can't find a job.

i hope to GOD that people are just as sick as i am paying 4.13 a gallon for gas. i saw cheap chuck steak for 5.59 a pound. milk is 3.63 a gallon.

we can't afford four more years of this man as president.

to think biden laughed at serious issues at the debate and he is next in line to be president scares me to death.

i am not republican or democrat. i am a women trying to help myself and my son's survive this mess.

I sure do hope he DOES NOT get back in the office! Lord help us all if he does. I've never been so disappointed in a President as I have been in him. The deficit has never been higher (he promised to cut it in half and has in fact more than doubled it!), he's getting ready to raid medicare of over half a trillion dollars to fund his Obamacare in addition to raising taxes on an already overburdened middle class by thousands of dollars a year. He's cut our nation's ability to be energy dependent by more than half, he ditches out on his security briefings (like the ones days surrounding Benghazi to go campaigning) and increased government spending and size. Poverty levels are higher now than they were during the great depression, food stamps and other entitlement figures are mind boggling and job growth? Please, there is no real growth. The numbers of people out of work are much higher than the actual figures he quotes if you take into consideration the population growth, the underemployed and unemployed, those who have just plain given up and the ones who were self employed and are not eligible to qualify for unemployment benefits, the statistics are double digits. He began his "reign" in office with an apology tour to the world, personally, I think he should be voted out and end it with an apology tour to America. He had his first 2 full years in office to pursue his campaign promises and instead, went on tour and claimed celebrity status. Did you see the David Letterman show? He takes a million dollars from a comedian who calls women the c word and says he stands for women's rights. Yeah, he did that. Good guy? NOT

You absolutely have a right to support your candidate of choice. But I don't see anything worth supporting in this one.

Why do you want someone back who has lied so much?
Have you watched the movie 2016?
    Do you watch the news?
