I wanted to get back to 160 #s before I left for Rio but the trip starts tomorrow and I weighed in at 174 today.
I ran a half marathon yesterday and beat my best previous time by twelve minutes.
I felt good about not taking advantage of the pizza and baked macaroni lunch that was included in the fee.
I canceled that out at the end of the day by eating four peanut butter sandwiches between diner and bedtime.
I am telling myself that I must have needed them or I would not have succumbed.
I tracked down my high-school X-country coach whom I have not seen in 40 years. He still lives in my hometown so we're taking him to lunch tomorrow before I pick up my brother and head for the airport. It should be an interesting reunion.
I weigh less than I did the last time I ran for him.
I don't know what my internet access will be like for the next couple weeks, but I'll try keep up even if I don't post.
I feel like I'm the last person on earth without a cell phone or tablet.
