Down an Inch...

Monday, October 22, 2012

... on the measurement that is about 3 inches below my belly button, from about 10 days ago. Glad to see that going down. It is weird though, the scale is up about 3.5lbs in 5 days. Just goes to show ya emoticon

So what's up with the 3lbs? Well, I think it was a bun on Saturday, and a piece of pizza crust yesterday. Calories were in check, so I don't think it was fat gain. However I was expecting to see some bloat inches on my waist, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was at least the same, and the other measurement had gone down emoticon

October is winding down and I would like to pull a little better number out of my hat than I did last month. emoticon

Better to lose inches than lbs. There are too many variables in poundage: water weight, muscle weight, what's still in the intestines from yesterday, etc.
My inches are down but my wieght is stagnant. I'll take less inches!

My husband tells me that inches going down and weight going up is because muscle weighs more than fat. That's what I keep telling myself. emoticon

Inches matter more than pounds. We are having an interesting discussion about low-carb weight loss on the low-carb team. Can't remember if you are on that.
Keep up the good work
