Holy crap, where did this past month go??
I have been busy outside of the computer. Football and field hockey are now over!! So proud of my kids. Basketball starts soon, and I am coaching my daughters team, this should be interesting. If I am going to require them to run and do push ups then I should be able too! Lol
So i am training to do at least fifteen pushups in the next week or so. Five a day until I feel stronger and keep adding.
What have I been up to? Let's see we celebrated my daughters two year DX with T1D, by spending it in the hospital with DKA...that almost claimed her life. Thank you inept hospital and doctors. I know you all practice your trade, but please not on my daughter!! We find put this week if any corrective action will take place against said doctors.
I had a CPR call last week. We did our best and when we left him in the care of the doctors he had a pulse.... His funeral is today though. Rough! (same unfortunate hospital)
I have done nothing extra ordinary in the terms of working out, other then playing with the kids and cleaning the cold germs... But have managed to lose another few pounds. Pretty cool. emoticon
I feel the heaviness on my chest, so I know that my time nursing others has gotten me ill as well...par for the course I guess.
Hoping to get into the community gym with my husband for a month! We used to workout together when we were dating, that was our quality time, it's been 13 years!! I miss it, I hope it will turbo charge my loss. I eat very well, with a few exceptions, so it is the lack of movement that it keeping me at this heavy weight.
So I am back, off to read e-mails, check in on the teams and start a bootcamp. Gots to do what I can while the lil guy is sleeping.
Have a great day

Words from the heart. Cant beat that.

When I was in the hospital last January, I had a particularly good nurse. I told her - I meant it then and mean it now - a nurse is the closest thing to an angel on earth.

Quite frankly, I dont know how you do it, but thank God you do..
