This week has been nuts...even with a double-scoop Baskin-Robbins Waffle Cone one night (I had over 400 calories left to reach the bottom of my range because of eating so lightly earlier that day), and barely getting anything but my minimum 10 min exercise most days, I still logged a pound down when I weighed in Wed. emoticon

Not that I have anything spectacular to say, but I'm blogging to stay in the habit of blogging.

If you didn't see my new pics, check out the last 2 blogs. I'm so excited! My sis also called me (she hasn't seen me in person in months, but she's seen my pics on FB)...she's cleaning out her closet and has some size 10 jeans, a skirt suit, some slacks and tops, shorts... She's going to give them to me as soon as I can get out to meet her (about an hour away). Very excited about that!

I keep thinking that if I'm in a 12 now (some bottoms are even loose) right now, that by goal, I'll at least be an 8. It's conceivable that I might get into a 6 in some things. I can hardly fathom that.

Need some help & encouragement on the exercise lately - been forcing myself to do my 10 min/day, but sometimes it's half-hearted. My sched has been nuts, and I can't seem to get myself up early enough to do it first thing in the morning...if I'm not up by 7am, it's too late to get in a good walk/jog, and getting up has always been difficult for me. some good reports, and one cry for help/encouragement...not bad for a blog for blog's sake blog.

Courtney, I essentially have 3 jobs, one is as a long-term volunteer in community relief and recovery, it takes all my mornings and 2 afternoons a week, then I work my main pay job afternoon-evenings, don't usually get home until after 8pm (dark), worn out. I also clean a house every other week. I have time for exercise, but when I don't get up early enough (to fit in the walk and a shower), I have to do it at night, which I don't prefer, so I tend to do only the minimum to say I've done it.

And I don't really know what my goal size goal weight is 145, which given what size I am now, my size then will likely be an 8 or even a 6. Hard to fathom. When I go look at clothes, I forget that I don't have to go to the Plus size, or the Women's section. I can shop in Misses now! Whoa! That's still hard to get used to. The clothes my sis is giving me are just a bit beyond me right now, but in a month or so, at least some of them will probably fit. These are transition clothes, and I so grateful I haven't had to spend a lot of money!

    emoticon on the weight loss...that's emoticon ...wish I could say the same..I'm going down slowly but surely. You can read my latest blog if u want that'll give u an update on my situation but good for you for getting into your goal size. That is your goal, right? Keep up the great work and the exercise will fall into place! Do u have time to do a walk at work or maybe at night when the kids are winding down? IDK your home situation, but maybe u and DH could do a walk together. I know I drag mine out with me at night..

Whatever you're doing, it's Keep it up!

    I too have been struggling to get in my exercise the past week. I agree that music does help once I make the time to get it done. Have been so tired lately have been having a hard time getting up early enough to squeeze it in. Don't get home until 11pm which is too late.
You might be surprised what size you will be when you make goal. Whatever it is, it is going to be size awesome.

    When I go to the gym, I always forget to take my headphones...but I'm mostly only there for one line dance class a week (can't make any of the others), but occasionally can't make that, so just get on the treadmill to walk/jog (still "training", for lack of a better word, for the Trick or Treat Trot).

At home, sometimes I use SP vid's, if I'm doing strength work, I don't bother with music. Maybe I should. Thanks...I'll see what I can come up with.

    Are you using music to keep you motivated to exercise? Playing my favorite tunes helps me push myself when I don't feel the motivation to get moving. Just a thought!
