Starting to Track Food Again

Sunday, October 21, 2012

I gained six pounds by not being mindful about my eating. I'm going to start food tracking again. Also, I'm trying to get the house organized again. I let things get disorganized when I was working all that overtime. I started the organizing and food tracking today.

My friend, Favio Castan died a couple of weeks ago from a heart attack. I miss him very much. Here is a painting he painted for me.

I've been using Flylady and Sparkpeople together for the last 3 weeks to get back on track - I've re-lost 9 of the 10 lbs I gained, AND my house and office at work are clean and organized (well, getting there)! Most importantly, I'm not in a love/hate relationship with Sparkpeople any more - it's just part of my routines.

I hope that you find something that works for you! Good luck!

PS - Sorry about your friend. That painting is amazing. How strong you must feel when you look at it!

Good Luck with your organizing and tracking!

I'm very sorry for your loss. His work is quite beautiful.

It is very hard to stay on routines when schedules change. My house also falls apart quite quickly when I'm not hyper-vigilant on it! Good for you for getting back into now! It's so easy just to blink and realize 3 years have gone by and all that progress is gone. emoticon emoticon
