I joined a challenge called Fall into Fitness. One of our challenges this week was to create two goals we wanted to work on through out the challenge and log them here on Spark.
If you don't know how to set up your goals, go to my tracker and select other goals from the list.
When I made it to this page I found a long list of goals. A long list of goals I was so not working towards. Time for some deletion.
Recently I realized I was feeling very overwhelmed with all the e-mail I was getting from sparkteams. I didn't want to quit my sparkteams but I decided to avoid all the e-mails and unsubscribed from all of them. Since I did this, I felt it was then important to clean out all goals from the teams and to just focus on me.
Sounds selfish I know but since I have gained 8 lbs since the beginning of September I feel it is important to start focusing on me again. To stop feeling overwhelmed to keep up with everyone on Spark. To just do what I feel I needed to do.
Below is a list of goals that I specifically want to work on right now. My goal is to find my focus again.
Sparkpeople Special Goals:
* drink 8 cups of water
* walk 10,000 steps per day
Both of these I have not been reaching lately
* No Candy except for Dark Chocolate
I tried giving up all sweets and that failed miserably. This time I am going to be more specific but allow some wiggle room. This will be difficult with Halloween approaching but I am hoping I can stay focused.
Fast Break Goals:(P.S. I love how you can choose these from a list!)
* Don't Drink Soda
* Exercise for 10 minutes a day
* Get up without hitting the snooze alarm.
So again all three of these I must work on. I have been drinking a lot of soda lately and need to stop. It is tearing up my stomach (suffer from acid reflux) from all that I have been drinking. I have stopped a lot of my exercise and want to get back to doing at least 10 minutes a day. I would also like to make it a mix of things like dancing, walking, zumba, bootcamp or a spark video. Last is the snooze alarm. I don't keep the alarm on my side of the bed so I don't hit the snooze. However, I do get up and take a shower and then climb back into bed until my husband is in the shower. This gives me another 30 minutes or so to stay in bed. I use to use this time for devotions, exercise and get caught up in my e-mail. Since Friday I have been not staying in bed and I plan to keep this one up.
