I don't like chocolate anymore

Saturday, October 20, 2012

I tasted a bit of chocolate yesterday after not having any for a while and I did not like it. It was way too sweet! I tasted a little this morning because I thought yesterday that it may have just been a fluke or an off day but nope. I didn't like it! I don't know if I don't like all chocolate but I certainly did not like the kind I tried (I used to like it very much.)

I was very surprised that I didn't like it but in a way, I am happy about it too. emoticon

It's amazing how much things can change.

Is there something you don't like anymore? Go ahead and share what it is.

Have a wonderful weekend. :)

I still love everything, but I'm happy for you that you can give up chocolate. I'm working on ice cream.

don't think I've found something I don't like anymore, but discovered lots of things I do like, or can at least tolerate now, that before I did not like at all. As for chocolate, it has never been a big favorite of mine.

Your taste buds change over time, just like your skin and your hair. So your current taste buds are used to the healthier food more and the highly sweetened and processed foods less. That's a really good sign of progress!

If you want to try chocolate, stick with dark chocolate high in cocoa. It's less sweet and has more health benefits.

Fantastic, how great that chocolate no longer calls to you! I am now that way with really greasy, salty things especially potato chips. It's great to not have things tempt you, it makes it so much easier. emoticon

OK... I totally wish that that was my problem.. I can't stomach too much of it right now because I'm pregnant... maybe I'll end up like you and not like it anymore even after the baby! emoticon

I think I will always love chocolate :) However, I do notice that some foods don't have the same effect on me that they used to. For example, I used to crave pizza all the time! And when I ate it, I had to eat a lot of it! Now, on the rare occasion that I do have it, I have a slice or two and be satisfied. And I can even pass it up! I still enjoy it though :)

Excellent! I find the same with dougnuts. Quit eating them about 19 years ago, and when someone talked me into trying one it tasted gross! I need to do the same with chocolate. Next I think I will try chocolate, I have not had one for awhile, so I will just stay away from it! Thanks for the idea!
