I have a terri ble weakness - I need goals to keep me interested and motivated. So, I have taken on a few challenges from some SP friends.
(1) Accepted a challenge to stop soda from Sept 19 to Oct 19th -
I am going to keep this challenge up. I drink about 10 cups of water a day which is much better for my body.
(2) Accepted a challenge to stop eating candy, cookies, cakes etc except for one treat a week. Challenge started Oct 10th. And actually, I haven't had any sweets at all. Not even cravng any. My daughter chased me wth a brownie yesterday because I refused to eat. I didn't desire it so I wasn't going to eat it to please her. She is really a good girl and she thought she was being funny.... she is a teenager, so we will leave it at that.
(3) Accepted a challenge to read 100 days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangle. It is a daily motivation book and it has challenged me to think about new views.
Maybe I take things to extremes.... unfortunately, that is who I am. But I do know my body is in better condition now with the right fuel.
