I have never had anything that has made me feel so excited about losing weight, my kids tell me I am obsessed. Well if I have to be obsessed with something, I am glad it is with Sparkpeople. I can't wait to go on line and start my day with what my coach has to say to me today. I track while I am eating my lunch at work and read some articles and blogs. It helps so much for me to stay on track. But sometimes worries come into my head: what am I going to do when the week comes that I don't lose the weight, what will I do. I am scared that I will fail again.....and stop what ever I do. I hope that I will have the courage to continue, and I will findthe strength in Sparkpeople not to give up. For right now I want to thank sparkpeople for all that this site has done for me 7lbs lighter.. :)

LOL! You sound like me! I like that you are thinking ahead to the inevitable plateau as they will come. I mix up my exercise routines and that helps me. When I feel frustration, my mantra of This Too Shall Pass refocuses me.

Prepare now with positive affermations for the weeks that the big bad scale doesn't reward you with a lower number. They will happen. Notice when they do that your clothes are getting too big for you and vow to ignore the big, bad scale.

First, congratulations on the 7 pounds gone! emoticon

As for your obsession, I've been here over 4 years now, and I'm still obsessed LOL
I've had my ups and downs, lost 75 pounds, gained 15 back with menopause, but now have stopped gaining. Still struggling to lose more but am satisfied with ME. I am still changing things up, finding new challenges, and have learned even when the scale doesn't budge, that there are good changes going on INSIDE my body when I do the things that are best for it!

So, never give up your obsession with getting healthy and have a great journey!!
