1500 Yard Swim

Wow, I swam 1500 yards this morning, in just under 55 minutes. I've never gone this far on my swim before! I'm pretty excited about it! I think if I keep working at everything, I will be on target to not only do the Evergreen Tri next summer, but I will do the Olympic distance instead of the sprint. The sprint is 500 yards, and the Olympic distance is 1500 yards. The other 2 events are a 26-mile bike and a 10K run, both of which I've done before. I talked to Dan about it this morning, and he said, "You know, I get a little worried about you; you just get so....AMBITIOUS." Then he said, "Well, if you think you can do it, then go for it. But I think you're nuts!!!" So I guess I'll have to prove to him that I'm nuts. ;)

Also this morning, the scale finally moved and I'm down another pound this week! My calories have been awesome, although this morning I noticed on SP that my protein could use a little boost. A quiche may be in order for dinner tonight. :)

Anyway, today I'm feeling really good and it's almost the weekend; although I have a lot of homework, it'll be nice to not have any plans. Spark On. :)
