I'm on my way to recovery from my 'nagging injuries'. The two biggies have been the numbness in my right foot & back pain. It turns out they're related! Both of them stem from a bulging disc.
I got a shot of cortizone in my foot a few weeks ago - before we found out about the bulging disc. And, I started PT (physical therapy) on Monday. I had a session of traction twice this week (but that should be over now!) and I have exercise homework. Mainly, we are trying to get that bulge down. Then, I need to work on core strength!
Just a reminder to us all: do not neglect strength training while you are running, biking, or whatever your exercise of choice!
Now, off to do my homework!
