My first powerlifting contest ever at age 57!
It was fun ! I did a 235 deadlift and a 225 squat. They didn't give the squat to me though because I tipped a bit at the bottom and my hips went above paralell. (DRAT!)
I benched too, but the pics wern't very good and it wasn't my best lift. I attempted 125, but let out all my air and didn't get it all the way back up.
What in this world will I do next? LOL
I've been training 5 months through all kinds of perils. Some workouts were in my backyard after work with mosquitoes gnawing on me. I remember once it was raining. Thankfully, most of the time I made it to the gym.
