This week so far, I do have to say that I've been pretty spot-on with the healthy living. Things have been going great and I've made very good progress, regarding weight loss and health improvement, so far.
I'm just worried about 'blowing it' this weekend. I'm going with my girlfriend down to Kentucky for the weekend shopping and sightseeing. Eating out is going to be inevitable. This weekend, I'm going to take some packets of my multigrain hot cereal with me (very high fibre, tasty, and filling) to snack on in the hotel room. Since I can't transport any fruit across the Can/US border, I'll plan to stop into a grocery store as soon as we cross into the US and buy some fresh fruit that I can snack on while I'm driving, as well as some higher protein snacks. I've also examined different restaurant menus on the web to get an idea of what I can safely order while I'm away. And I'll make a point of walking for an hour each day we're away.
I just have to stay focussed on my path and remember all the great progress I've made so far. I'll still be tracking every day on our trip. Hotels normally have WiFi.
I'll just have to keep in mind all the progress I've made thus far.
