I always said I never eat a lot, but probably a lot of BAD stuff, and sure enough, the first day knocked me on my butt (10/15/12). The last few days I have been better, but I still don't eat enough protein. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like most meat. I'm going to need to buy some chicken breasts and fish this weekend, maybe some eggs too. I'm still eating too many sweet things!

Looking back, it's a miracle that with both parents being diabetics and me being overweight with a sweet tooth that I am not either....but I get tested at least twice a year and I don't have diabetes (thank God). I sure can see I need to kill the sweet tooth though.

I'm really lucky that I haven't met a veggie I don't like (even spinach and lima beans!)LOL.

My day started out really bad, but I just some self talk and said "this ankle doesn't hurt anymore than it does any other day, GET OVER IT!" and after my 1/2 hour of pouting, I said enough is enough, I like to laugh and tease people at work too much to have a long face and it is now 2:15 EST and I'm doing pretty good.

Lunch is just about over and I haven't finished my homework for school tonight! I must be crazy going for my accounting degree this late in my life, but it sure makes things interesting.
