Fitbit and Sparkpeople!

Wednesday, October 17, 2012

SO glad that the Fitbit now works with Sparkpeople!

It's wonking up my calorie burn totals, though. Wonder if there's a way to fix that...

ANYHOO, it's great because now I have extra motivation to wear the thing and use it. And anything extra I can do to keep myself on track is well worth it, even if the tech kinks still need to be worked out.

Excited, because I'm going to run tonight for the first time since being hurt. It'll be a very gentle run/walk - certainly nothing major, and I'll REALLY have to keep myself from pushing like I want to - but I'm excited, nonetheless. The weather now is absolutely perfect for running, and I want to enjoy it while I can.

I'm tempted to get one now. Good to know about the wonkiness, since I may wait for a bit.

I have noticed the same issues so what I did to still log my cardio activities was to create new activities but not assign them a time or a calorie burn amount. Now I can see what I actually did for the day.
Good luck on your run this evening, please take it slow :)
