Stress busting challenge

My journal entries last week about my stressors were really long. I worry about my 'stressors' sounding like complaining. I don't want to be a complainer.

    No worries! Spark is a nice, safe place to vent when you need to. It doesn't make you a chronic complainer if you vent once in a while! Spark on! emoticon

    My ankle was not feeling better after 3 weeks, so I've been going to the chiropractor, which has really helped a lot! I ran 3 miles the day before yesterday in 35 minutes. Not bad.

    Aw - I didn't put journal entries up on here - they were too long and sounded like whining to me, which I didn't like. But at least I got it 'out'. In a nutshell, my kids are my main stressors. I love them dearly, but they are 2, 4, and 7. I also expect too much of myself and want to be the perfect Mom...along with having outside influences with unrealistic expectations of me. I get overwhelmed at all there is to do, then I procrastinate.

So, my goals for this week are to (1) physically remove myself when I feel like screaming at my kids - in order that I may compose myself, so I won't have to apologize for my poor and unpleasant behavior choice. (2) Do the 2 tasks on my "to do" list that I most dread before noon each day, and be happy that at least I got those done. (3) start the day with Sparkcoach and read a stress busting challenge article daily.

I did okay with other exercises. I didn't gain. But, I didn't lose either. I bought a kettle bell, wasn't very consistent with using that. Tried to like Yoga (for about the 10th time), and I was consistent with my Curves workouts.

    Not quite sure what you mean here, Bomb? Haven't seen your journal entries about stress. But am wondering how you are getting along with that foot? Did you find any of the suggestions about exercise worked for you? I sure wish I had had some of them when I hurt my legsin the past, because injuries can really derail you!
