Day Three is for Me!

I work in property management.

Recently, the property installed a fitness center for the residents, and while, to date, we have issued 92 fitness center pass cards, I only see the same few people working out.

I start my day in the office at 7:30 AM. Normally, I prefer walking outdoors in Forest Park in the crisp morning air, but since it's still dark at 6:30, I don't feel safe walking in the park.

But I've got to walk, I've got to exercise. The last few weeks have been an indulgence in Lazy with a Capital L. I have to move again.

So I decided for Monday that I would stop at the park on my way home from work and get my walk in. Frankly, I hate it. There are too many people there and I don't feel as connected to the Universe with so many people around, but I still walked. And I walked yesterday too.

Yesterday morning, I added twenty minutes on the treadmill as well as some weight-training - not a lot, but more than nothing. This afternoon, it's forecasted to rain, but I intend to get my umbrella out of the car and walk the park.

Baby steps: Day Three.
