An update on my life, no I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth.

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

I have just experienced the most difficult period of my life. My son committed suicide in February and my husband had a massive heart attack in April and passed away due to complications in June. I'm getting through all of this but have managed to gain back 15 lbs due to stress eating. So here I am, trying to get active on SparkPeople and reverse my weight gain and get back to where I was.

My sincere sympathies on your losses. Your weight gain is nothing to be ashamed of. Our bodies and our emotions go through major shock when we lose a loved one, and with two losses this close together, I think it is amazing that you are looking to get back on track so soon.
