Today I ran past my first too runners that didn't turn out to be pregnant. These two men were jogging, and for over an entire lap (almost a lap and a half) I was ahead, then I went to my walking minute and they immediately passed me, I don't know if I slowed down, if they sped up, if they didn't want to be rude by passing me back, not sure, but in two seconds they were ahead of me again. :-P
Today I went 5.08 miles in 70 minutes. But my breathing was easy the whole way, and I didn't really struggle at all. I just need to get used to running faster!
I'm hoping this means I can run 5 miles in at least 65 minutes, and run 6.2 in at least 85 minutes. My goal for this 10k run is 90 minutes, however I think I can do better than that!
As for my next venture, I think I'm gonna go back to some 5k training after this is up. These hour long sessions are getting crazy long. So much working out. I get a little bored, it's definitley just endurance over fitness after a while, I think 40 minutes is probably that fine line.
Tonight I had steak. So tomorrow is going to be a lower calorie day. Yesterday I did eat 3 of my chocolates :-( Still under calorie, and it was a serving size, but I'm definitley sticking to the 72% chocolates instead of these creme filling ones I wanted to try out... I tried out each flavor last night. fail.
