For every 15 minutes I spend sitting on the couch, I will do 1 minutes of intense activity (e.g. step aerobics, jogging in place, kickboxing, dancing around like a crazy person, or anything else that gets my heart rate way up--in the 90-105% range).
I'm going to call this the Movie Night HIIT workout. Haha. It might drive my bf a little nutty, but I won't even need to pause the movie to do all of these things, and it will be a nice little metabolism booster for me.
