This was a pretty good day as well. It was SOOOOO busy! I woke up around nine a.m. and started working on decorating a cake for my cousin Nikki's baby shower. It was a lot fun to see it come to life as I worked on it. It kind of morphed from one thing into another, but you'll have that with cake. (And I DIDN'T EAT any of it!)
Then it was gift wrapping, showering, painting and powdering getting ready to go to the party. Once we got there, (Sara and I) we had so much fun! There were fun games (no melted candy bars in diapers, thank goodness!) and tons of delicious food. All of the foods were appetizers. I managed to control myself extremely well, considering that I didn't have time for breakfast with all that decorating.
After we left there, I picked up my husband and we (including Sara) went to Indianapolis to meet up with Josh, Matt and their brother, Noah. We all had dinner together at O'Charley's. This is not the place for a dieter to be! There was only one thing on the whole menu with calorie information, so I stuck with that. It was the Chicken Bruschetta. I exchanged the sides out for some soup. I was sorry I did when I got home. My goodness! That soup was loaded with calories. It was chicken tortilla soup. After reading the nutrition information online, I was glad that I made most of the choices I did. Wow. You could really eat a pile of calories that way. My husband's meal was well over 200 calories and he didn't eat nearly what he normally does. Wow. ALWAYS look at the restaurant's nutrition information before you go!
The good news is I STILL managed to stay on target with calories! Yay! I was pretty excited when I realized I had done it! I hope you all had a super Sunday!
