when you start trying something difficult
is not a good indicator

Very true, every effort we put forth will make us stronger & more capable of the next bend in the road.

That says it all. I would never have started singing , even, if I had let myself be discouraged by where I was when I began. emoticon emoticon

How true!~ When my students got frustrated trying to learn a new skill, I would say: "You don't hit one baseball and say, "I've got this -- ready for the major leagues!" It's all about the practice, practice, practice!!!

This is so true of me. It took me 2+ years to lose about 60 pounds. . .I started out very slow but I'm picking up momentum the longer I try. Love the picture of the adorable little girl. Thank you for sharing this piece of wisdom and insight.

That is a true statement. We really don't know how far we can go because along the way we loose the momentum to keep going until we reach the top.
