I dropped off the face of this site for a bit. My breathing problems got worse and worse for a bit, and I started feeling sick all of the time. Lo and behold, I was pregnant! I had my first child, a little girl, slightly over a year ago. The past two years have been spent focusing on taking care of myself, my daughter, and my husband. And you know, working two jobs :)
I love being a mom. LOVE. And while it's actually easier to eat healthy now that it was before since I have to make healthy meals for the kiddo anyway, its much much harder to workout. My typical Monday-Thursday is as follows :
4:30 AM wake up
5:30 AM leave for work 1
6:00-4:30 work 1
4:30-5:15 drive home
5:15-7:30 make dinner, feed child/self, get kid clean and ready for bed
7:30-11:30 work 2 (from home).
I cannot figure out where work out goes. My Fridays/weekends are a bit more open, but I'd like to be able to fit in SOME exercise every day. I just can't force myself up at 3:30 am (and don't think it would be a healthy choice) . But I'm going to take things step by step, allow for failure, and push on. Because my baby deserves a healthy, happy mama.
