So, here I am starting my Saturday long bike ride. As I ride into town I notice numerous bikers and recall that the MS150 in going through our little town. I start riding and talking to some of the riders and eventually ask how far they've gone. The answer is 24 miles with 56 more to go. My Garmin has 20.6 miles. What to do? Of course, I joined them on the ride, after calling my Cuchi and asking her to meet me at the finish line. I decide that I'm going to go hard and try to pass as many cyclists as possible. As I pedal hard I'm feeling real good and push the pace on the ups and the downs. Eventually, I stop counting at 387 and ride on. As I enter the finish area I notice that there are less than 10 riders who have finished. When I finally stopped and looked at my Garmin, it read 19.7 MPH for the 56+ miles. My gorgeous little wife was there at the finish with a big hug and a change of clothes. Overall, a great experience. HOOAAA!!
