Last month I decided to get my weight under control after being incredibly close to having diabetes. Here is my progress report.
Beginning weight: 273
Today's weight: 269
Pounds lost in one month: 4
Here is what I have been doing in the past 3 weeks (didn't stick to a regular plan the first week and lost no weight)
Eating one-two pieces of fruit daily.
Walking 4 times a week for 20-30 minutes.
Twice a week doing a Sparkpeople squats video.
Eating 2,000 calories a day instead of 2,340 needed to maintain my current weight.
Keeping a positive attitude that I can do this!
Next month, I plan to add the following:
Eat two-three vegetables a day.
Add a resistance band workout twice a week.
Enjoy the spookiness of Halloween instead of celebrating by stuffing my face with Reese cups.
Keep using sparkpeople and read inspiring stories of fellow Sparkies that lost the weight and got healthy.
