Skin... uggh, issues.

Sunday, October 14, 2012

I felt this past week that all my skin seemed to detach from my body. I know it didn't lol but, I'm feeling ultra flabby lately. I have mainly been working on cardio, so I think I need to start conditioning and maybe that will help. It's bothering me a bit.

I may look into surgery after all this is said and done. In the meantime, I'll just wear clothes that will "contain" all this and hope that it's only "my little secret"... as I won't be showing EVERYONE my "goods"...

How are all of you dealing with the sagging skin from major weight loss?

When I loose this weight I am going for a tummy tuck since that is the only way to get rid of this skin.

Well, I actually HAD TO have the surgery on my tummy, like the apron area because it was pulling on 3 hernias. I feel so much better. I still have problems elsewhere though. Strength training helps you fill in your skin and so does water. Also, good moisturizer makes it feel better and more elastic. I've lost 235 pounds now and you can look at all of my gallery pics if there is a body part you are concerned about, just ask. I'll offer advice if I can.

Want insurance to cover your tummy tuck or panniculectomy (apron removal)? IF you have back problems, rashes underneath, numbing of the legs due to, or any issues because of, they will cover it as long as it is medically necessary under many insurance plans.
