WUB #5
1. Lose 20lbs, 20 inches.
~ I'm currently 7.8lbs down and 4 inches down.
~ 12.2lbs and 16 inches to go in 5 weeks.
~ I must be a comedian.

2. Run a 5k in under 43.5 minutes - Unknown
~ During my interval training today I was already at 3.33 miles even before I hit 43:30. I imagine I can do this really well come another week or two for my 5k.

3. Track my food and water every day
~ Goal!

4. Continue my 10k training, push up training, sit up training, and squat training.
~ In light of the over training article I'm doing 2 days of running, 2 days of strength and 2 days of walking.

5. Run a 10k in under 90 minutes!
~ I was 18 minutes away WALKING it in September.

6. Run a mile in 10 minutes
~ My current time is about 11:02 I'm pretty sure I can hit the 10th minute, maybe not under 10 minutes yet though, but come Christmas I'm confident!

7. Read one Bible chapter a day (or 7 a week)
~ I read 4/7. I switched to the New Testament to give myself a break from the old. I'm currently in Matthew.

8. Take update pics
~ I'll do this tomorrow but I'll save the posting of them til Week 10.

9. Make money
~ There I go again with that comedian stuff! hahahahaha. :|

10. Encourage my team in some way each week.
I feel as though I'm doing the bare minimum and I sowwy :-(

Today I ran, I was going to do it yesterday but I flaked. Actually my grandmother had started fixing dinner, then after we ate it was too dark. I usually cook myself in case anyone was wondering, I'm technically not one of those helpless guys when it comes to the kitchen. But my grandmother does cook once or twice a week, sometimes 3.

Today's run I was .08 miles away from running 5 miles. FIVE MILES! In approximately 65 minutes. One more mile and that's my 10k basically! My speed was 13:14 per minute, that's how fast I was able to run a mile in Mid August. This includes a 5 minute walking warm up interval. 48 minutes of running, 17 minutes of walking. 4.92 miles. Monday I went 4.52 miles. Half a mile difference in the same time. And I think this is my fastest pace with intervals.

Tomorrow I weigh in, the scales in my room and it calls my name and I tell it "NO SCALE! NOT YET!, and I honestly gotta say, I'll be disappointed if I'm not in the 270's, very disappointed, I actually lowered my calories a little bit to the 1400 to 1800 range this week. I hate not knowing, but I feel a little smaller. And last week my waist was a 46. I'm not sure what would make it change so drastically since the scale hasn't moved much either the past two weeks. If I gain I'll cry. If I gain I'll cry.

I'll update tomorrow about the weight, have a good night, GO COCKS!

    Your running ability is blowing my mind! I've managed to make it up to walk 3 min run one minute, but it takes the full 3 minutes for me to recover from the 1 min of running. XD

I need to go do my mile test today... I'll do it once I'm done watching the guy skydive from space :)

Also, I had NO IDEA that last comment was a football team.... I was very very confused and my brain went in a completely inappropriate direction! :P

    *eh-hem* Sorry 'bout SC's loss to the mighty LSU Tigers...

You will NOT cry!! YOU will just become more determined than ever! You ARE drinking enough water, right? (you learned that already!) Same about moderating your sodium! Watching you calories is good, and you are doing awesome with your walking and running!!
