Been a bit down.

Been feeling quite down lately.
I am really missing my ex. We still friends but in some ways that makes it harder.
It is 3 weeks today since we split. As it was my first relationship maybe it has hit me harder. No idea really.
I have felt like going off course with my eating on several occasions. Luckily though I have some how managed to stay strong and stay on track.

Tomorrow is weigh in day will so will be interesting to see how I have done the past week.

    Hang in there! And congratulations for staying on track!

I agree with the advice of the previous posters. I once heard an Irish author, Brendan O'Carroll talk, and he went off on a tangent about how life can be. He said, like what kluteracoon said, that he loved himself and accepted himself. He said as long as you love who you are and how you live, everything (and everyone else) in life is just a bonus. Do something nice for yourself this weekend. Do something you know you always love doing, then set a plan for yourself for the week. Make one or two goals, maybe one Spark-related and one about accepting yourself, and figure out how you'll achieve them this week. And now I think I need to go take some of my own advice...well, after I get some sleep.

    Take time to feel what you are gonna feel. Maybe you can use the emotions to work out, if you get upset go for a walk and think. It doesn't have to be a marathon or power walking but just something to clear your head and if you happen to burn a few calories, bonus. vent away as needed. Go easy man

    Cheer up! It will pass, allow yourself to feel the pain but don't dwell on it. If it's painful to be friends with your ex then why do it? If they don't do anything to positively contribute to your life then they shouldn't be a part of it. I know that is easier said than done.

Congrats for staying strong and on track.

Good luck! Don't forget to learn to love yourself along the way, there is not amount of weight or lack there of that will fix that problem.
