NO FUN, NO RUN!
I began Sparkpeople's "5k Your Way Walk/Jog Training Program" this week. I will be Walk/Jogging a virtual 5k during the week of Thanksgiving.

[x] Run/Walk #1 (25-30 min and stretch) - 25 min, Tuesday at Gym
[x] Run/Walk #2 (25-30 min and stretch) - 25 min, Thursday at Gym
[x] Run/Walk #3 (25-30 min and stretch) - 25 min, Saturday at Gym
[x] Cross Train #1 (30-60 min and stretch) - 30 min Bike, Wednesday at Gym
[x] Cross Train #2 (30-60 min and stretch) - 30 min Walk, Friday Outside
[x] Do Yoga - Thursday
[x] Clean the Living Room / Hallway Carpets - Tuesday
[x] Vacuum gravel in Fish Tank / do a water change - Thursday, Happy Fish!

Week 2 lbs lost (Oct 15 - Oct 21): 2.6 lbs
Total lbs lost (Oct 8 - Dec 30): 4.2 lbs
Monday was a total flop this week -- I was tired, I did not sleep well, and I overate because of it. I didn't exercise. That's ok -- it happens. I am starting fresh on Tuesday after a good night's rest.
We've decided to go to the gym at 5-6 pm each day, Sun-Fri, because I believe it will help me sleep better at night if I do my workout 4-5 hours before bedtime. Also, it will keep me from overeating at dinner since I need to be able to run soon after... and it should suppress my urge to snack in the evening as well. I might even split my supper into pre-and-post workout portions (5 pm and 8 pm), to keep my metabolism running high and repairing my muscles while I sleep.
A few days this week, I've been working out a bit in the morning and a bit at evening. I like it. Eventually I would like to make it a habit to take a morning walk and then do my regular gym stuff in the evenings.
Unfortunately, I could not check off my last calorie day because Sunday I had a binge. Boo. I will do better.
