So today was 'ME-day' (aka weigh in day). Frustrating as I'm up 0.5 pounds from last week, which was only down 0.2 pounds. But it's not a complete and utter mystery really. Combination of too many calories three days last week and not enough exercise to compensate for it. Plus a lot of salt yesterday (apparently).
SO.. not going to let this derail me. I've got enough other stuff going on, but clearly need to spend a little more effort watching portion sizes, especially when eating outside of my home. Although I did get three days of 60+ minutes cardio (hiking) in this last week.
So I'm a little frustrated, but I'm going to try and not dwell on it, and move forward today. I've got a TON of stuff to do this weekend. House is being listed today or tomorrow, got to move my cats over to their new temporary home (my parent's house). I'm planning to wait until I find a place to buy after I get settled and am sure I like the new job/city/etc, then bring the cats over. At least that's the plan for now.
In the meantime, I'm also trying to figure out what else I should pack into my car for the move, rather than leave the movers to move. Working on that today too.
Even though my movers are coming at the end of the month -- I'm going to be gone for nearly a week between now and then, back east visiting family and a grandparent that is ill. So while it seems like I've got time, once I get back from that trip, I'll have four days before the movers show up -- so trying to get as much done now as possible.
