I was tasked to review a workout DVD that I have never tried. We were to rent one or get it frm the library, well I have my own personal library of dvds that I have not tried yet. This is one of 3 in this glider disk series that I have. Don't ask why have them and not use them, I am just strange like that. Any way I digress.
The person performing the exercises is Mindy Mylrea and she is a tiny powerhouse and she also is the inventor. This particular video is just her. She makes the moves look easy, but don't be fooled. I need oxygen after that workout. The dvd runs about 30 min and gives you choices of what you can do, ie..sections or the entire video. There are 6 sections, Intro and Warm up, Cardio 1, Gliding 1, Cardio 2, Gliding 2, Cardio 3 (this section contains drills), Gliding 3 and the cool down. I really like how she does not make you feel bad for not doing the full intensity, actually encouraging you take it slow.
The video is not what I am used to but it is worth a repeat. I Like the gliding disks, it's kinda cool to slide around and really try not to fall. **side note, I am accident prone and the fact that I did this and didn't hurt myself is why I want to try this again. The instructor shows how you can lower the intensity. She is enthusiastic w/out being annoying. I can see myself doing the other 2 videos that I have now.
