Who needs the scale? I don't!

Friday, October 12, 2012

For the first time in a very long time I am feeling in control. I don't know exactly what is it that am doing different but I can say is that I have definitely noticed that when it's time to eat I am making better choices. And it's not only that, it's that I don't even have to think about it twice like I use to. It's all coming naturally to me now. It's all coming together. I don't crave carbs like I use to. This is making me so excited because I can feel the difference. I can feel the difference in my attitude, and in my clothes. Who needs the scale? The scale cannot measure how great you are feeling and it cannot measure the way your clothes fit. Let's throw the scale out the window! :p

I would never stop weighing daily as I need to know when I have gained 2#. But, do what worked for you.

Watch the Youtube Series "THE SKINNY ON OBESITY" with Robert Lustig M.D. and his lecture "SUGAR: the bitter truth". They explain so much.

That's right! The scale isn't everything. Take those measurements!! And throw the scale away. Go out and buy yourself some new clothes.

You are so right! It's hard at first to make those good eating choices, but as you do, your blood sugar evens out and cravings lessen. Congratulations on turning the corner to better health! Enjoy the differences!
