Big thanks!!! But rough 24 hours

Friday, October 12, 2012

I have to say that after I posted that I needed help with my latte "addiction", I felt better already! Then to see all the wonderful suggestions was awesome! I am going to be implementing most of those suggestions in one form or fashion. I have to say I have gone two days so far with no latte!!! I do plan to treat myself once a week at the most with one!!

So last night I had to have my husband call 911. I got real tingly all over and my right arm went completely numb on me. I really thought I was having a stroke. At the ER they ruled out a heart attack and told me it was just a panic attack, which I've never had before!!! So I already had an appt. with my oncologist today just for follow up, so I tell him what happened. He is an amazingly smart man and will always listen to me, and he thinks it was either a stroke or a migraine (which I do get but never quite like this and not in a long time). He's referred me to a neurologist to have it checked out. He also said my constant muscle pain is from the Crestor I'm taking so when I see my endocrinologist on Tuesday I will be talking to him about that. I'm so sensitive to the statins!!!

On the plus size I did lost 2 pounds this week. I didn't work out today, and I'm ok with that. I needed to rest. I'm hoping if we can lower the Crestor or change it and the muscle pain goes away, I can finally work out a little more intensively. I've wanted to so badly but it just hurts too much to amp it up any. I'm still walking 3 miles a day, 1 mile in the morning and a little over 2 in the evening, but I would love to walk further or walk faster during those walks!!
